We’re Curtis and Lauren Thomas, owners and operators at Thomas Beef. We are a first-generation ranching family in Herald, California. We pour our hearts into raising high quality Angus beef. Our goal is to share a story about hard working ranchers while providing the highest quality product.

 

For nearly a decade, Curtis and I have been growing our little herd of cows. We raise our cattle the old-fashioned way. We love it because it’s a dying art. We hear great stories and folklore about cowboys- men among men. We hold ourselves to that higher standard. We take pride in good husbandry and caring for the land- it’s an honor and great responsibility. Cows are cared for with respect. Low stress handling and cattle welfare are our priority.
